We are on the eve of Layna turning 1 years old: how fast time goes by. Enjoy Sterling and Layna pictures from the month of May.
Surely enough it is time for an update to the site. It took longer than expected: we now own a Nikon D40 dSLR camera, which added a few extra steps before we can publish the pictures.
There are lots of pictures of us on vacation in Virginia, where we went to visit friends, visit the Skyline Drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as the wonderful caverns in Luray, VA. There are definitely some photo gems in this batch.
Christmas and New Year have come and gone. Sterling is almost 4 years now and Layna reached her 8 month mark. Tons of new pictures to look at. Layna has her own site now too, where we will post her pictures in the future: www.laynajacelynne.com
Halloween 2007 has come and gone. Oh what fun we had. We had between 100-120 Trick or Treaters and lots of compliments on the display we put up. See the Invite only section for all the October fun we had: Carving Pumpkins, going to a Pumpkin Farm (Bishop's) and ofcourse working 'Sungonneth Cemetery' on Halloween itself.
We can't believe it is almost Halloween! The previous update was right after Sterling's birthday and since then a lot has happened.
On June 12th, Sterling welcomed a baby sister: Layna Jacelynne. Due to being born 6 weeks early, she developped some serious medical issues. As a result, she had to spent 26 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Mercy San Juan Hospitial. Needlessly to say, all this hospital stuff took a strain on the family, but we made it through this phase.
At 4 months old, the baby girl (also known as Layna Bug or Layna the Lady Bug) is already imitating her big sister. She is growing like a true Dutchie, trying to grow above the sea water level as fast as she can :) Anyways, go look to all the new pictures. There are some real beauties in there!
We can't believe that Sterling had her 3rd birthday yesterday already! Watch her pose in her birthday girl dress in the front yard.
Happy (Chinese) New Year everybody! We've uploaded December, January and February. Check out the whacky Winchester House pictures from our trip there on February 2nd. Sterling had loads of fun out there!

It took a while, but here is a mass update of pictures. This includes pictures of a trip to Folsom Lake with the Shafi family, seeing the Niagara Waterfalls, a wedding, Brussels, Holland (Family, Efteling, Madurodam, Blijdorp Zoo) and Sacramento Zoo, again with the Shafi's. As you can imagine, we have been very busy these last few months with these trips and people visiting us (Michele and Bug) and preparing for Halloween 2006 (pictures to come).
We finished uploading all April pictures. And while we were at it, we did May and June as well. Afterall it is July 1st... No new movies yet.
On June 3rd we went to the Beale Airshow at Beale Air Force Base just north of Sacramento. The USAF Thunderbirds were flying plus lots of other interesting and loud planes. The Shafi family joined us and we all had a jet blast. The airshow has its own page, so if you don't care too much about jet pictures you can skip them. There are a few Sterling pictures though...
Finally, the movie page in the invite only section is up to date. Even the last little movie of Sterling eating a cupcake and visibly enjoying it is on there now. Enjoy watching!
A new update for the whole month of March and April up to the 18th. These two series include her 2nd birthday party pictures as well as a serie of pictures where Sterling is having fun on the beach.
Did we mention yet? Still no video updates as of yet.
We've finally updated Sterling's website after over 8 months of no updates whatsoever. There are well over 450 new pictures to be seen and smile at.
No new video's as of yet: we need to create some thumbnail images first before we can post these new bandwidth hogs. We'll keep you posted when these are up.
Oh yeah, did we mention that we revamped the layout of the website too? The 'Invite Only Section' on the right gives you access to the password protected private pictures.
